At FMK, our passion lies in creating nature-inspired wedding flowers, that don’t cost the earth (quite literally). Our mission is to create timeless floral styling with kindness and care – for ourselves, our couples and the environment and to make more mindful weddings possible, with a long-term vision of making it easy to choose quality over quantity, calm over chaos, society over self and sustainable joy over momentary pleasure.
We value timeless beauty over fleeting trends and design in the most natural way we can, meaning we avoid chemically-altered materials like bleached and dyed florals and use only sustainable mechanics to create our larger designs – so that’s a big fat ‘NO’ to floral foam (better known as ‘Oasis’) which is non-biodegradable, non-recyclable and toxic for both humans and animals. We choose kindness, not because we have to, but because it seems to come naturally, and because it really is ‘cool’ to be kind. We believe that simplicity is key and we (believe it or not) actually like living life in the slow lane; preferring to work slowly and intentionally, soaking up the journey, rather than just racing to the destination.

(the ‘Co.’ consists of various wonderful humans who make it all possible … the lovely freelance florists who help us pull off larger weddings, our bearded husbands who remind us we’re badasses (whenever the self-doubt creeps in), our beautiful Mamas and their beautiful gardens and all their floral wisdom, our four crazy kiddos who we go to work to escape (jokes!) and last but not least, the grafters that are Lou’s wee Daddy and brothers, who’ve never seen us stuck for the lend of a power-tool or a new piece of floral mechanics. These folks are all worth a-mentioning, as without them, we simply wouldn’t be here, doing what we love and loving what we do).
